A series of footy stars were seen out enjoying themselves on Mad Monday - but the celebrations appeared to be tame compared to previous years. In 2022, former Western Bulldogs defender Zaine Cordy had to be helped into a taxi by teammates as he was heavily intoxicated after leaving a Melbourne pub - and in September last year, Sydney Swans co-captain Callum Mills was 'injured' at post-season drinks. It later emerged the gun midfielder suffered the injury while wrestling with a teammate.
