Simone Ashley is the latest in a growing list of stars to turn to Central Saint Martins’sMacy Grimshaw. And it’s no wonder why.

Last month, the London-based emerging designer made headlines when her “Paper Doll” look found its way toHarry Styles’sKiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionallyalbum art. The placement felt inevitable, given her long-established working relationship with the man behind Styles’s wardrobe—Harry Lambert—and her growing list of celebrity endorsements spanningPinkPantheress,Emma Corrin, andLola Young. Still, for a student wrapping up her Master’s degree, the opportunity could only be described as “insane.”

Now, Ashley has joined in on the fun. Working with stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray, the actor selected a teal-blue silk slip for her trip to London, where she spent the past week promotingThe Devil Wears Prada 2alongside Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci.

Printed with the image of a red slip, the piece offered a dress-on-dress inception moment. Red spaghetti straps blurred into printed ones, creating an illusion bound to have your head spinning back around for a double take.

Ashley wore the dress with chunky silver earrings and deep royal-blue heels. She pulled her hair back into a high ponytail and gave her cheeks a bit of rosy blush. A couple of sunflowers in hand were the perfect finishing touch.

For the rest of the London press tour, Ashley wore vintage Thierry Mugler, Versace, and Jil Sander looks, as well as Issey Miyake and Marni pieces from the Fall 2026 season. It’s safe to say Grimshaw was in good company.

Welcome to the cat club,Kylie Jenner! The star, who introduced her new feline friend to the world last fall, just shared anInstagram dumpwith the sweet little kitty (presumably a Scottish Fold, for those looking into the breed). Her snuggly furry companion joined along for a pool-side makeup routine, where the Kylie Cosmetics founder blushed her cheeks and lined her lips in a one-piece swimsuit from 2010.

First seen on Gucci’s Spring 2010 runway, the gray bodysuit was designed by creative director Frida Giannini as part of the futuristic sporty collection that brought the house into the new decade.

Strapless with a cut-out silhouette and open back, the swimsuit may not have been one of Jenner’s classic bikinis, but it was just as itty bitty as ever. Strings of fabric from each corner met in the middle with sharp silver hardware and intricate knotting, making for a slashed look that felt particularly fitting for a photoshoot with her kitten. (Anyone who has spent time with a cat will know that despite their cuddly looks, they can do some serious damage with their claws).

“Me + my lip liner + and my kitty,” Jenner captioned the post, tagging her beauty brand. Her followers were quick to ask which shade the lip liner was, and in the comments, she confirmed it was herChill Brown offering. As for her hair, the star let her long dark locks fall in effortless waves down to her waist for a lived-in feel that gave a nice contrast to the picture-perfect glam.

Reports: Mets recall Ronny Mauricio, signaling IL stint for Francisco Lindor

Francisco Lindor appears headed to the injured list with a calf strain sustained Wednesday in the New York Mets' first win in the past 12 games, with Ronny Mauricio getting the call to replace him on the roster.

Field Level Media

Mauricio is batting .293 with an OPS of .987 for the Mets' Triple-A affiliate in Syracuse.

Lindor was heating up at the plate, but there has been nothing wrong with Mauricio's swing of late. He belted three home runs on Tuesday night to give him six in 58 at-bats in the minors this season along with five stolen bases and 13 RBIs.

Mauricio, 25, had one hit in four at-bats in a brief stint with the Mets earlier this season.

Lindor had two hits in two at-bats on Wednesday before exiting with calf tightness. He's batting .226 on the season. But Lindor was settling in over the past nine games with 11 hits in 33 at-bats to raise his average from .188.

Lindor's injury occurred in Juan Soto's first game since he went down with a calf injury against the San Francisco Giants on April 3. The Mets lost 12 consecutive games after a 4-4 start with Soto in the lineup and entered Thursday with an 8-16 record.

Candice Swanepoel Models $185 Victoria's Secret x Tropic of C Swimsuit

Candice Swanepoelis once again stepping into her element, this time bringing a more grounded, nature-led energy to swimwear as she fronts the latestVictoria’s Secret x Tropic of Ccollaboration. Her swimwear brand leans into a softer, more organic kind of sensuality. Rooted in Tropic of C’s values, the drop reflects a balance between sustainability, femininity, and timeless design, positioning itself as swimwear that feels as good as it looks.

Candice Swanepoel poses in Victoria’s Secret x Tropic of C one-piece swimsuit

At the center of it all is the $185 Blaze One-Piece Swimsuit. Made in a muted python print that immediately sets it apart from typical summer colors. The silhouette is clean yet striking, with a high-cut leg that lengthens her body. From the front, the swimsuit keeps things minimal with thin straps and a soft oval neckline, but it is the back that adds a subtle twist. It features a low, open cut with thin straps that meet with a circular ring detail at the center.

The campaign imagery further elevates the piece. Swanepoel is set against raw, rocky textures and ocean-colored backdrops that mirror the collection’s inspiration. There is a clear emphasis on fluidity. Whether she’s leaning against a sculptural stone formation or posing mid-action, the swimsuit moves with her rather than against her.

Accessories are kept intentional but impactful. She wears statement gold drop earrings, a chunky gold bracelet, and a ring that brings a hint of polish. Her slicked-back, wet-look hair complements the overall aesthetic. This reinforces that just out of the water, the campaign feels that it leans into.

What makes this piece stand out is not just its design, but how wearable it feels despite its high-fashion look. It is the kind of swimsuit that transitions easily from a beach setting to a night-out look without losing its identity.

Mets snap losing streak in Juan Soto's return, but see Francisco Lindor exit

TheNew York Metsentered Wednesday less than 10 games away from the longest MLB losing streak of the 21st century. That title still belongs to the2024 Chicago White Sox, who lost 21 straight contests during their historically bad season, and the Mets will get no closer after they defeated theMinnesota Twins,3-2, on Wednesday night.

USA TODAY Sports

The victory snaps a 12-game losing streak that had plummeted the Mets to the very bottom of the standings. Mark Vientos, who had been cut down at the plate while trying to score earlier in the game, was the hero, his two-out single in the bottom of the eighth plating the winning run.

The win — which came in Juan Soto's return — was notentirelysatisfactory to the reeling Mets. They saw star shortstopFrancisco Lindor exitwith what the team called left calf tightness.

While they hold their breath over Lindor, they can at least rest easy knowing their winners for a night:

Ballpark vibes, big plays and wild celebrations during 2026 MLB season

When did the Mets' losing streak begin?

The Mets' losing streak began after the team started 7-4. They then lost 7-2 to the Arizona Diamondbacks on April 8, which started a catastrophic chain of events that led us to where we are now.

Since then, the Mets lost another game to the Diamondbacks, were swept by theAthletics, Dodgers, and Cubs, and then dropped their opener to the Twins.

Longest losing streaks in Mets history

The longest losing streak in Mets history came during the team's inaugural season in 1962. That team not only lost a franchise record 17 straight games during the season but also had other losing streaks of 13 and 11 games.

Since the turn of the century, the longest losing streak in Mets history stands at 12 games, a tie between their losing streak coming into Wednesday night and the 2002 team, which lost those 12 consecutive games between Aug. 20 and Aug. 31 that year.

Longest losing streaks in MLB history

The longest losing streak of the 21st century belongs to the 2024 Chicago White Sox, who lost 21 straight games. However, that is not the longest such streak in MLB history. That dishonor belongs to the 1961 Philadelphia Phillies, who lost 23 straight games.

Here is a list of every team in the modern era (since 1901) to have lost at least 20 consecutive games:

  • 1961 Philadelphia Phillies – 23

  • 2024 Chicago White Sox – 21

  • 1988 Baltimore Orioles – 21

  • 1969 Montreal Expos – 20

  • 1943 Philadelphia Athletics – 20

  • 1916 Philadelphia Athletics – 20

  • 1906 Boston Americans – 20
